A single satellite link is a single point of failure. When it drops, and it drops, the crew loses contact with home, the payment terminal times out mid-transaction, and the shore team loses sight of the vessel exactly when they most want it.
The answer is not a bigger satellite package. It is more than one path, intelligently managed, with something making the decision about which one to use before anybody notices there was a decision to make.

We design and deliver connectivity that combines every path available to your vessel: satellite, 4G/5G when in range, shore Wi-Fi in port. We manage them as a single connection.
Traffic moves between links automatically. A voice call started on 5G alongside continues on satellite as you leave the coast, without dropping.
We have spent years debugging what happens when a payment session crosses between two links mid-transaction. That is not a theoretical problem, and the fix is not obvious.
- Starlink Maritime. High-bandwidth LEO, for the traffic that was never affordable before: crew video calls, real-time monitoring, bulk data to shore.
- KVH VSAT. Global, proven, and there when the LEO service is not. Coverage in the places and conditions where Starlink is degraded or unavailable.
- Both, working together. This is the point. Starlink carries the load, KVH carries the guarantee. Traffic moves between them automatically, and the crew never sees the switch.
- 4G/5G. Cheap, fast bandwidth whenever the vessel is close enough to use it.
- Bonded and failover links. Every available path combined into one connection, with automatic switching.
- Bandwidth management. The systems that matter get priority; crew streaming does not starve the payment terminal.
- Crew Wi-Fi and welfare access. Separated from operational traffic, with fair-use controls.

Questions we get asked
Do you supply the satellite service itself?
Yes. We deliver Starlink Maritime and KVH VSAT as part of a managed package: hardware, network, airtime and support in one contract, with one number to call.
Why would I want both Starlink and KVH?
Because one of them will fail you, and you will not get to choose when. Starlink gives you bandwidth. KVH gives you the guarantee that when Starlink degrades (weather, capacity, coverage gap, high latitude) the vessel is still connected. Together they cost less than the downtime of running only one.
Can you work with our existing provider?
Yes. If your airtime contract is good, we will keep it and fix the engineering around it. We are not interested in selling you a contract you already have.
What if the connection drops mid-voyage?
That is the scenario the design exists for. Traffic moves to the next available path automatically. Where no path exists, systems we build keep working offline and sync when the link returns.
Do you handle crew welfare separately from operations?
Always. They are different traffic with different priorities, and mixing them is how payment terminals start timing out.
